Inclusion

I think that inclusion can be great with many children if there are the proper supports in place. I feel that that decision should be made on a kid by kid basis.

Inclusion. We are seeing inclusion more and more in elementary schools. Some people think that this is a great opportunity for children with special needs to get the education that they need without being separated from their peers. Others view inclusion as an inconvenience and as something that not only holds back children with special needs but also holds back the other typically functioning children in the regular education classroom. What is your opinion?
